Role Description The Financial Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Rochester, MI, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves providing comprehensive financial planning and advisory services, including assessing client needs, creating tailored financial strategies, and recommending appropriate investment and retirement solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, analyzing financial information, preparing and presenting financial plans, and monitoring progress toward client goals. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal team members on tax planning, insurance, and asset management needs, and will maintain regular communication with clients to adjust plans as circumstances change. The role also includes staying current on market trends, regulatory changes, and financial products to ensure advice is informed and compliant.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive client strategies.
- Solid knowledge of Finance and Investments, including portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation.
- Experience with Retirement Planning, including goal setting, income planning, and utilization of appropriate retirement vehicles.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible terms.
- Demonstrated client-service mindset, with strong relationship-building skills and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional designations such as CFP®, CFA, or similar are a plus.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM tools, and common office applications; comfort working in a hybrid environment.
- Series 7, 66 or 63 is needed
