LAKEVIEW COLLEGE OF NURSING
Lakeview College of Nursing (LCN) is seeking passionate and dedicated Nurse Educators to join our team. We welcome individuals committed to excellence in nursing education who are ready to inspire the next generation of nurses. Part-time positions are available for the Spring 2026 semester, with potential opportunities to transition into full-time roles.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging nursing curriculum and instructional materials.
Provide classroom, clinical, and laboratory instruction to nursing students.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate student records and assessments.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the nursing program.
Stay updated with current nursing practices and integrate them into teaching.
Serve as a mentor and resource for students in their academic and professional development.
Participate in college committees and faculty meetings as required.
Days per week: Monday - Friday (The specific days may vary depending on the lecture or clinical course being taught.)
Shift: 1st Shift
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience.
Previous teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use technology and learning management systems effectively.
