Lakeview Behavioral Health is looking for a dependable and motivated MA or LPN to join our growing nursing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on client care, medication coordination, and working alongside providers to support individuals receiving mental health and substance use disorder treatment.

No two days are exactly alike! You'll have the independence to manage your daily responsibilities while being part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support psychiatric providers with client care, medication management, injections, and other clinical needs within your scope of practice.
• Assist with medication administration, vital signs, client monitoring, and specialized behavioral health treatments.
• Manage prescription refill requests, medication prior authorizations, and medication-related documentation.
• Communicate with clients, pharmacies, insurance companies, providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Order, organize, and maintain medication and medical supply inventory, including proper storage and reconciliation.
• Respond to non-emergent client questions and concerns, coordinating with providers when follow-up is needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic health record (EHR).
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Support clinical workflows, quality improvement, and compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, including Minnesota 245G standards.
• Pitch in with other nursing and clinical team responsibilities as needed!

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current Medical Assistant certification or active LPN license in good standing, as applicable.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• A friendly, compassionate, and professional approach to client care.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with a team.
• Comfortable supporting individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders.
• Ability to successfully complete a Minnesota DHS/NETStudy background study.

Experience That Would Be a Plus!

We'd love to hear from candidates with experience in any of the following areas, but you don't need to check every box!

• Behavioral health, substance use treatment, primary care, or outpatient healthcare (1 years preferred).
• Prescription refills, medication prior authorizations, and pharmacy coordination.
• Medication administration, injections, and client monitoring.
• Medication ordering, inventory management, and reconciliation.
• Electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Familiarity with Minnesota 245G regulations.
