Are you hands-on, motivated, and ready to learn a skilled trade? Lakeside Heating and Cooling is looking for a dependable HVAC Install Assistant to join our growing team! This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to gain real-world experience installing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems—no HVAC experience required ✅
You’ll work side-by-side with experienced installers •️, learn industry best practices, and grow into a long-term career with advancement opportunities.

✅ What You’ll Do

• Assist lead installers with installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork ❄️•
• Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites •
• Set up and organize job sites to ensure clean, safe, and efficient installations •
• Learn to drill, cut, measure, and assemble materials accurately •
• Assist with basic electrical and mechanical connections under supervision
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles •
• Follow safety guidelines and company quality standards •
• Represent Lakeside professionally while working in customers’ homes and businesses •
• What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or GED preferred •
• Construction or HVAC experience is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn, follow direction, and grow in the trade •
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools •
• Valid driver’s license preferred •
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality •
• Team-player mindset with a positive attitude •
• Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight areas
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and stay active throughout the day
• Willing to work in various weather conditions •️
• Schedule
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Overtime available during busy seasons •
