Position Summary
Lakeside Social is seeking friendly, energetic, and service-driven Servers to provide an exceptional dining and entertainment experience for our guests. Servers are responsible for delivering attentive service, accurately taking orders, and ensuring guests enjoy a fun and memorable visit in our restaurant, bar, and bowling environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, communicates well with team members, and is passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation and accuracy
- Provide menu knowledge, make recommendations, and upsell when appropriate
- Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and ensure satisfaction
- Process payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
- Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and company policies
- Assist with opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
Requirements
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays up to 30 lbs
- Ability to commute to South Haven, MI
