NOW HIRING — RV SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Looking for a great full-time job with steady hours, overtime opportunities, and room to grow?
Lakeside RV Sales is looking for a dependable, hardworking RV Service Technician to join our team.
RV experience is preferred — but not required. If you have a good mechanical mind, basic knowledge of tools, electrical and plumbing, and experience with hands-on work such as carpentry, flooring, or welding, we will train the right person.
PAY & HOURS
Up to $35 per hour including commissions, based on experience
- Full-time position
- Average 40–47 hours per week
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, as needed once trained
- CLOSED SUNDAYS!
- Overtime opportunities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your day will include a variety of hands-on responsibilities, including:
- Inspect RVs as they arrive at the dealership
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
- Check and troubleshoot 12-volt and 110-volt electrical systems
- Check plumbing, appliances, HVAC and other RV systems
- Troubleshoot and repair customer, dealer-stock and warranty RVs
- Wash and thoroughly clean campers, including appliances and bathrooms
- Demonstrate RV features and systems to customers before delivery
- Install and repair doors, flooring, cabinets and other components
- Perform general carpentry and maintenance
- Lot and dealership maintenance
- Document repairs and cause/correction information using our computer system
- Keep your work area clean and safe
- Complete work accurately and on schedule
No engine or frame work required.
WHAT YOU NEED
We're looking for someone who:
- Has basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Understands the basics of 12V and 110V electrical systems
- Has general plumbing knowledge
- Has basic carpentry skills
- Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, welding or similar hands-on work is a plus
- Has their own tools
- Can lift up to 75 pounds
- Can learn quickly and follow instructions
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Is dependable and punctual
- Works well with coworkers
- Has a positive, outgoing personality and enjoys working with customers
- Can communicate professionally with customers
- Has a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
IMPORTANT
You don't have to be an experienced RV technician to apply.
If you're mechanically inclined, good with your hands, dependable, willing to learn and have a great attitude, we want to talk to you.
We will provide ongoing training to help you learn the RV industry and develop your skills.
