CMM Lab & Quality Supervisor
The CMM Lab & Quality Supervisor will work closely with production and use the appropriate testing/measuring equipment to ensure quality products are manufactured and supplied in accordance with customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Planning and carrying out measurements for monitoring of the serial production.
- Carrying out and evaluating capability studies and cleanliness tests.
- Planning and implementation of metrological method.
- Quality planning in the product development stage.
- Participating in the handling of customer complaints.
- Training of staff in matters of metrology.
- Programming and set up of CMMs and design of fixtures.
- Organization and management of FMEA meetings in the product development and serial production phases.
- Monitoring, provisioning, testing, and coordination of the gauge management system.
- Test plan creation, coordination, and modification.
- Planning of maintenance of the measuring equipment.
- Metrological support of set ups and optimization of CNC machines.
- Planning and carrying out of sampling (PPAP).
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Specialized training and extensive experience in the field of Metrology.
- Previous programming experience using PC-DMIS or Calypso
- Knowledge of machining and casting of components is beneficial
- Experience in the automotive industry and associated technical and quality requirements.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
