About the Role
We’re a busy, team-centered pediatric primary care practice looking for a FULL TIME Medical Assistant (approximately 30hours) who:
- Loves working with kids (and the adults who bring them)
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-first environment
- Knows their way around vaccines, vitals, and well-child visits
- Can juggle clinical tasks while keeping compassion front and center
- Understands that stickers are serious business
You’ll be the calm voice, the steady hands, and sometimes the bubble-blowing distraction during immunizations.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Rooming patients (newborns through young adults)
- Vitals, screenings, developmental tools
- Administering vaccines & injections
- Assisting providers with procedures
- EHR documentation (accurate efficient = magic)
- Supporting care coordination and follow-up
- Making nervous kids feel brave and confident
Bonus points if you can:
- Turn a blood pressure cuff into a superhero prop
- Explain “why we need this shot” without causing panic
- Spot when a parent just needs reassurance
