What You Can Expect As An Experienced Diesel Technician
As an experienced Diesel Technician, you will work independently, performing both major and minor repairs. Diagnosing all-makes commercial trucks and buses and completing maintenance work consistent with Lakeside best practices and industry standards. As an expert, you are considered a lead technician and may serve as a mentor for developing diesel technicians at the dealership.

Overview
The Mobile Diesel Technician will troubleshoot and diagnose customer truck and trailer concerns and issues efficiently and communicate regularly to shift supervisor to assure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Must have a positive attitude
Provide own hand tools up to ½ inch drive
Accurate completion of repair orders
Keep detailed notes on repair orders to ensure accuracy
Acquisition of needed parts, inventory management
Maintain a clean and safe work environment including Mobile Maintenance unit
Strong desire to take care of the customer
Perform assigned tasks in compliance with dealership policies and procedures
Responsible to adhere to all warranty policies and procedures
Qualifications
Perform preventative maintenance on all fleet equipment to include reefer units & lift gates
Knowledge of air, hydraulic, and full power brake systems
Knowledge of basic engine and driveline
Knowledge of basic electrical
Knowledge of overhead door assembly kits
Knowledge of cab and suspension
Trailer preventative maintenance work
Diagnose and repair various reefer and lift gates
A/C Certification
International® Truck Experience Preferred
CDL license
Technician must provide their own hand tools up to ½ in. drive
Attain Required Skills To Be Qualified State Inspector (DOT)
