WHAT YOU'LL DO: MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT!As our Activities Assistant, you'll work alongside our Activities Director to create engaging programs that promote social interaction, creativity, and overall resident well-being.
Bring the Fun: Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily recreational activities, games, crafts, music, and special events.
Create Meaningful Connections: Build positive relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities they enjoy.
Celebrate Special Moments: Help coordinate holiday celebrations, birthday parties, themed events, and other memorable experiences.
Encourage Resident Engagement: Adapt activities to accommodate residents' individual interests, abilities, and needs.
Promote Social Interaction: Help residents stay connected, active, and engaged through meaningful group and individual activities.
Provide Hands-On Support: Assist residents with transportation to and from scheduled activities.
Be a Team Player: Collaborate with the Activities Director, nursing staff, and other departments to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life.
Creative mindset and enthusiasm for planning and participating in recreational activities.
Ability to motivate, encourage, and engage residents with different interests and abilities.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Previous experience in recreation, activities, assisted living, skilled nursing, or long-term care is preferred but not required.
