Hospitality Aide – Long-Term Care & Rehab

Location: Lakeside health and Rehab in Richmond, VA

Schedule: [Part-time/PRN]

Position Summary

The Hospitality Aide supports our Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation residents by helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This role works closely with nursing, dietary, and housekeeping teams to assist with non-clinical tasks that enhance resident care and daily operations.

Essential Duties

• Assist residents with non-clinical needs to promote comfort, dignity, and safety
• Deliver and retrieve meal trays; assist with dining room setup and breakdown
• Support housekeeping by restocking supplies, light cleaning, and room readiness
• Transport residents, equipment, and supplies throughout the building as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
• Follow infection control, safety standards, and facility policies
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required during shifts
• Willingness to learn and grow in a healthcare setting
