What You'll Do
- Perform joint venture accounting, including financial statements, budgets, cash flow, fiscal close activities, and tax schedules
- Administer the company credit card program
- Perform fixed asset accounting for assigned location(s)
- Support insurance administration for joint ventures and subsidiaries, including renewals, claims, and invoice processing
- Assist with month-end journal entries and financial reporting
- Process monthly Sales & Use tax filings and assist with annual tax schedules as assigned
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Support company legal matters, including managing the legal inbox, maintaining listings of open agreements, and coordinating with internal departments and outside legal counsel
- Lead the 1099 process for joint ventures and provide oversight for subsidiary processes
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience with demonstrated ability to apply accounting principles
- ERP system experience required; SAP experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet navigation and data manipulation tools
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work with personnel across the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ethics and integrity aligned with organizational values
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information and implement solutions efficiently
