Lakeside Foods Manitowoc Packaging Center, you will gain knowledge and
understanding of the business through hands on activities, coaching, and
projects. The Quality Assurance/Food Safety intern will work primarily
on the production floor and in the QA Lab, making a tangible impact on
the products we deliver. WHAT YOU\'LL DO: Performs meaningful technical
tasks that support quality and food safety processes. Collaborate with
teams across the facility to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
and maintain product quality. Gain an understanding of FDA regulations
while conducting audits on key programs such as allergen management,
foreign material control, and GMPs. Contribute to special projects that
make an impact on our operations Help support Food Safety Culture
activities. WHAT YOU\'LL BRING: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program
with emphasis in food science, biology or related field A genuine
passion for science and curiosity to learn Strong communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills High capacity for
