Job description
Job Description: *PLEASE READ* In this position, you will be required to fill in openings at different locations around the Akron/Canton/massillon area. You will be assigned your duties nightly. In the case we need you to fill in an opening that is last minute (less than 12 hours of notice), you will be compensated at a higher rate for your time. The nightly duties you will be responsible for will vary from general office cleaning to hospital cleaning. Any further details can be discussed during the interview about what the expectations are: You must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule After 5pm (end time not to exceed 1am but most likely sooner)
*** tasks/assignments will vary from 3-7 hours a night. you will be notified with as much notice as possible!
** as this is a floater position amount of hours per week will vary Between 3-25 hours per week.
***Please note as well if a more permanent spot becomes available you will be given the opportunity over external candidates.
Job Requirements: Clean background, and willing to get a TB test, experience in cleaning, flexible schedule
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained according to company standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure adequate inventory for cleaning tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.
- Fill in at multiple facilities as needed.
Additional perks: after 90 days perfect attendance bonus (if qualify) and holiday pay. As well as compensation for less than 12 hour notice of picking up a shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
