We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician for our site in Kendallville, IN. The IT Infrastructure Technician provides on-site support for end-users, resolving issues related to PC hardware, software applications, and other IT assets (e.g., LAN, servers, etc.). This role supports the design, procurement, installation, and configuration of IT infrastructure to ensure effective and efficient technology use, including systems such as power, HVAC, LAN, servers, and disaster recovery. The technician is also responsible for asset management of all IT resources within their assigned site(s).

This position primarily operates in an office environment (on-site and/or remote) and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, as well as occasional walking, standing, or light lifting (up to 10 pounds). We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician for our site in Kendallville, IN. What You'll Do
- Respond to Service Desk referrals and resolve issues related to PC hardware, software, peripherals, or production equipment.
- Prioritize and track incidents based on severity, urgency, and business impact; escalate highly complex issues to enterprise support groups or vendors as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across hardware, software, internet connectivity, network applications, and configurations.
- Collaborate with enterprise IT teams and external vendors to resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records, including additions, changes, and disposals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and incorporate solutions into work practices.
- Participate in special projects and perform related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply proven solutions to routine and moderately complex issues.
- Ability to consistently deliver accurate, timely results with minimal oversight.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and support new IT areas and technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Solid understanding of business concepts and ability to apply them when working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Active listening skills and ability to articulate business and technical needs effectively.
- Ability to travel occasionally

- Productivity Tools: Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, etc.), Microsoft Office 365/2024
- Devices: Raspberry Pi, handheld computing devices
- Networking: Aruba and Cisco technologies, Cisco LAN configurations
- Tools & Monitoring: SolarWinds, Jira
