We are looking for a Bindery Operator 1 to join our digital print center team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available.
Starting Rate: $20.50
Work Hours: 12-day shift, 6am-6pm M/T/F/S/S/W/T
Location: North Plant at 2347 Kratzer Road.
As our Bindery Operator 1, you will:
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs
- Troubleshoot
- Operate binding/finishing/packing equipment
- Coordinate job for crewmembers
- Assist in training new employees
- Receive training to help advance your career
Qualifications: - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
Preference given to those in current position no less than 6 months
