Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Beertender to join our team in a vibrant beach environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craft beer and excellent customer service skills. As a Beertender, you will be responsible for serving a variety of beers, wines and basic cocktails while engaging with patrons, and ensuring an enjoyable experience in our establishment. This role requires strong time management abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
We are hiring for a closing shift, starting at 4 p.m. and ending 10 p.m./10:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Serve a selection of beers, wines and basic cocktails to customers while providing exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and sharing knowledge about different beer styles and brewery information.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking beer stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquets or catering events to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving alcohol responsibly.
- Serving guests food while they sit at the bartop
- Making drinks for the dining room
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Experience in bartending or working in a nightclub environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing processes and beer styles is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service or catering operations is advantageous.
- Proficient in basic math for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
