What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist - Experienced position at Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital?
MUST HAVE VETERINARY EXPERIENCE
We are currently needing a full time Receptionist to join our team. For the right candidate we would consider part time or full time. Candidate must have excellent phone skills, customer service skills, be good at multi-tasking, and a love for animals. If you are looking for a good work family this is your place.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the front waiting area
- Greet all clients and patients coming in the door
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule appointments
- Check-in new and existing patients and let the staff know that the patient has arrived
- Collect all necessary patient information
- Check out patients (collect payments, make next appointment)
- Handle questions and provides information to clients
- Do reminder calls
- Maintain up to date with necessary client communication information in the patient record
- Pass on client messages/ concerns to doctors and technicians
- End of day processing and reports
- Filing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
