IT Shipping and Logistics Coordinator

Lakeshore Talent is in search of an IT Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to support technology hardware shipping, logistics, and inventory operations for a leading organization. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments from initial request through final delivery, maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records, and ensuring all domestic and international shipments are handled efficiently and in compliance with applicable requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, transportation coordination, or inventory control and is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Position Details

• Location: Englewood, CO, with occasional travel to a nearby Denver-area office
• Work Arrangement: Fully on-site
• Schedule: Full-time, anticipated Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Contract Length: 12 months, with potential for extension
• Compensation: $30-$32 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end shipping and logistics for technology hardware, including inventory verification, packing, staging, carrier scheduling, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Partner with Global Trade Compliance to ensure required documentation is completed and assist with customs clearance and shipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipment trackers, and documentation to support visibility, accountability, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and receiving locations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Support carrier invoice processing and shipment cost allocation using Ariba.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays, customs issues, missing information, and other exceptions.
• Coordinate with project managers, infrastructure teams, site IT contacts, Facilities, Procurement, and other stakeholders to support IT projects and business operations.
• Follow established shipping procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with warehouse and dock activities, including packing, handling, and preparing technology equipment for shipment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, transportation coordination, inventory control, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating multiple inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining accurate records and meeting delivery timelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and urgent requests.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams and with external partners.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned shipments, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work on-site and perform physical warehouse, packing, and dock-related duties.
• Willingness to travel between nearby work locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience coordinating international shipments, customs documentation, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience handling IT equipment, including computers, servers, networking equipment, or other technology hardware.
• Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet.
• Experience working with freight forwarders and shipping carriers such as DHL, UPS, Bertling, or similar providers.
• Forklift certification or willingness to complete forklift training.
• Spanish-language skills are a plus.
• Relevant education or training in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transportation is beneficial.
