Position: Attendance Secretary/Receptionist
Location: Lakeshore High School, Stevensville, MI
Job Classification: School Year Secretary
Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Two Days per Week (Job-Sharing Position)
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Professionally greet parents, students and visitors to Lakeshore High School
- Daily communication with parents, students, staff and administration concerning attendance
- Data entry in student information system, attendance information based on phone, written or verbal communication from parents, students, and medical offices
- Monitor students signing in/out of school. Ensure proper parent notification has been received
- Coordinate substitute teachers at the high school
- File correspondence in daily files
- Communicate homework requests to appropriate teachers and staff
- Accurately complete state and local reports
- Work as part of team with other members of the office staff
Qualifications/Skills:
- Secretarial skills, including speed and accuracy in work
- Demonstration of competence in all areas of Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Understanding of and commitment to confidentiality
- Detail-oriented
Reports to: Building Principal
