Duties
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy lawns and gardens
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems with safety and efficiency
- Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning trees, shrubbery care, and garden bed upkeep
- Assist with hardscape projects like installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal as needed
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping machinery and hand tools
- Extensive lawn care expertise including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and weed control
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, irrigation setup, and garden management
- Experience with landscaping design principles and hardscape installation techniques
- Ability to use power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor projects
- Familiarity with horticulture concepts for plant health and soil management
- Ability to perform tree trimming, tree care, snow plowing, and gardening tasks with precision
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills for maintaining equipment logs and project documentation
