Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, recommend drinks, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate Toast POS systems
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during banquets and catering events.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to food safety standards.
- Stay informed about new products, trends in the beverage industry, and menu changes.
Skills
- Proficient in using Toast POS systems for efficient order management.
- Strong time management skills to handle high-volume service periods effectively.
- Excellent sales abilities with a focus on upselling beverages and menu items.
- Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred, showcasing familiarity with upscale service standards.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience in the food industry, including bartending, serving, or catering roles.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with guests.
