Responsibilities
- Perform calibration procedures on automotive electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, and actuators using specialized software such as Calypso and other industry-standard tools.
- Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems accurately.
- Conduct precision measurements using instruments like ohmmeters, multimeters, and vision inspection systems to verify system performance.
- Maintain and update documentation for calibration processes, including calibration reports, schematics, and service records.
- Support field service operations by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating automotive components on-site at customer locations or manufacturing facilities.
Skills
- Proven electrical experience with a focus on industrial electrician skills, including working with low voltage and high voltage systems safely.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and calibration procedures accurately.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters, calipers, micrometers, and sensors for quality assurance.
- Knowledge of calibration techniques for automotive sensors and electronic components to ensure precise operation.
- Excellent customer service skills for supporting field service projects effectively while maintaining professional communication.
