Screenprint Floater

SCREENPRINT FLOATER:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direction of the Manager of Operations, this position is responsible for gathering garments, screens, and ink for individual orders and delivering them to Screenprint Machine Operators. This position will assist with machine clean up & prep for the next order. The Floater is responsible for maintaining daily workflow and is accountable for all rush orders that arise.

Each day is full of bright colors, fun products and new artwork for our fantastic customers from sea to shining sea, so you're not seeing the same order twice!

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p

A Typical Day (job functions) | Unload Operate Analyze Verify Repeat

• Job set-up & teardown at operational automatic screenprint presses


• Pair garments with associated screens for each customer order


• Deliver orders to machine operators


• Return inks to their correct storage location, notifying in mixing of needed inks

• Provide and support machine operator as needed


• Follow safety practices; identify problems and work to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards


• Work actively with others to get the job done


• Other responsibilities as directed (contributing to our core value of TEAM)

Skills (qualifications) | Team Player Reliable Responsible Eye for Detail

• High school education desirable, but not required


• Previous production experience preferred, but not required


• Ability to work well in a team


• Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well


• Perform repetitive tasks for several hours


• Stand 8-10 hours a day
