Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager/Estimator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the business, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This position assists the General Manager in supervising staff, optimizing customer service, Providing customer estimates, maintaining inventory, ordering parts, maintaining operational standards, and achieving performance goals. The Assistant Manager/ Estimator is a proactive leader with strong organizational and communication skills and who can step into the General Manager’s role when needed and help foster a positive, productive work environment. They will have a strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage both administrative tasks and field operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Tasks:
- Support the General Manager with day-to-day operations and estimates
- Coordinating new and prospective job scheduling
- Coordinating field technicians
- Ensure satisfactory progress with ongoing jobs and within budget
- Managing schedules and workflow
- Ordering parts
- Maintaining inventory and equipment readiness
- Providing HVAC & Plumbing estimates to customers and contractors
- Assist field technicians with technical issues
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes
- Prioritizing daily tasks to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
- Develop new and ongoing training opportunities for field technicians
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
