Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) is seeking Paraprofessionals to join Lakes Country Academy (LCA) in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, supporting K-12 students in a calm, structured, highly individualized setting.
Students are referred by local school districts and benefit from a supportive environment designed to meet both academic and behavioral needs.
Your Role Will Include:
- Support K-12 students in learning, social, and emotional development.
- Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Assist with classroom instruction and behavioral support.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive environment.
- Receive on-the-job training and ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, AND one of the following:.
- 60 college credits, OR completed Associate degree, OR passing score on the Paraeducator/ParaPro exam (may be completed within 30 days after hire).
- Preferred: experience working with students with challenging behaviors.
- Preferred: positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Salary and Benefits:
- Pay Range: $20.60–$26.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
