Now Hiring: Yard Maintenance / Shop Mechanic

Lakes Area Landscaping, LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Yard Maintenance / Shop Mechanic. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining an organized shop and yard, and has experience repairing small engines and landscaping equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on small engines and landscaping equipment and trucks.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop, equipment yard, and storage areas.
• Load and unload material deliveries and organize inventory.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and putting away materials and supplies.
• Help keep equipment, trailers, and tools clean, fueled, and ready for daily operations.
• Perform general shop and property maintenance, and (seasonal), and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with equipment inspections and report repair needs.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• general landscape equipment experience is a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
