Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing to maintain a pristine appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently, including trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by following established protocols
- Support basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial duties, or related fields such as facilities maintenance or porter experience
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods
