Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Director of Clinical Services to join our team. This position works primarily with their clinical team but is an essential part of the children’s senior leadership team and must be able to collaborate well with different departments. The ideal candidate is collaborative, flexible, and committed to evidence-based practices that support client success. This role requires working closely with individuals who may present with mental health and behavioral needs, ensuring therapy approaches are supportive, client-centered, and trauma-informed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision, leadership and direction for the PRTF clinical department, including case load reviews and consultation.
- Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and consistency in treatment approaches that are congruent with the treatment team planning.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with the persons supported and family / guardians
- Act as a resource for community stakeholders and internal teams regarding treatment-related questions or concerns.
- Train therapists as appropriate and/or needed and lead innovative approaches to our clinical work.
- Review and approve reports (progress reports, initial treatment plan, reviews, discharge summaries, etc.).
- Remain current in trends and practices as related to treatment of children with developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues.
- Collaborate with Psychiatrist / Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner on diagnostic and treatment issues.
- Provide support within the PRTF through individual case assignments, group therapy, and/or clinical supervision
- Provide on-call support to supervisory personnel, with mental health related issues
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mental Health related field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology)
- Clinical Licensure in the state of Kansas.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, professionals, and mental health staff
Preferred/Bonus Qualifications
- Experience supporting clients with mental health and behavioral needs
- Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Other Job Details:
- Salary: $85,000- $105,000
- Flexible scheduling with typical schedule 9am-5pm Mon- Fri

Certifications:
Clinical licensed in a mental health profession. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas. Preferred experience with residential treatment and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
