What are the responsibilities and job description for the Schaghticoke County Fair Wine Sales Associates position at Lakeland Winery?
Lakeland Winery is looking for professional, motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing individuals to work County Fair in Albany/Saratoga Springs Area and surrounding areas this summer.
Applicants must reside in the Albany/Saratoga Springs area and be available to work the ENTIRE duration of the County Fair;
- Schaghticoke County Fair- September 2-7, 2026
Duties include;
- Providing wine samples to fairgoers
- Selling our delicious wine by the bottle or case
- Assisting with booth set up and take down
Job Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must be engaging with customers and have successful selling capabilities.
- Be able to lift a case of wine (37 lbs)
- Be able to stand the duration of a 10-12 hr shift
- Have reliable transportation
- Have access to a smart phone to download and utilize the Square app.
- Be able to work independently
This job requires physical labor during set-up, and take-down, as well as standing for extended periods of time. Compensation is $18/Hour plus $0.30 per mile commute. Please contact Janette at janette@lakelandwinery.com
