Nurse Intern I (PRN) - B7 Acute Care-Surgical

Deliver care to patients under the direction/delegation of the Registered Nurse or licensed nurse assigned by the RN, as needed, and must be able to perform satisfactorily the specific patient care skills as outlined by the facility and the department(s). Must effectively interact with patients, families and other health team members. Must report pertinent information to the RN or licensed nurse assigned by the RN, as needed, and respond to requests for information in a timely manner. Assist with tasks to support patient care.

• Computer Skills
• Effective reading, verbal and communication skills
• Knowledge of providing activities of daily living, obtaining vital signs, and mobilizing patients

• High School or Equivalent

• Actively enrolled in pre-requisites for a state approved RN program. Must maintain active status and progression in pre-requisite sequence to stay eligible for job code.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
