Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Geneva, IL for a Pallet Salesman. The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, and providing exceptional customer service. Day-to-day activities include managing client accounts, preparing quotes and proposals, participating in sales meetings, and collaborating with operations to ensure orders are fulfilled to client specifications.
Qualifications
- Sales and Negotiation: Strong skills in B2B sales, client relationship management, and negotiation strategies.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, ability to engage with a diverse client base, and a customer-first approach.
- Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail: Proficiency in managing accounts, preparing accurate proposals, and tracking sales activities.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the pallet industry, logistics, or wood product services is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Tools: Comfortable using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivation and Professionalism: Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Experience and Education: Proven experience in sales is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
