JOB SUMMARY: The Health Information Technician is responsible for the daily activities of the Health Information Department, including preparation for daily schedules, providing necessary documentation for reimbursement, release of information, audit preparation, scanning into electronic medical record (EMR), and data entry, under general direction of the Office Services Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: Certificate from college/technical school or one year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SALARY RANGE: $17.16/hr – $23.05/hr
