POSITION OPEN - Bookkeeper/ Accountant/ Human Resources (Full Time) SALARY - $72,000 - $95,000 (pending qualifications) BENEFITS – Paid vacation, sick leave, and Holidays. Retirement plan offered and health insurance coverage for employees. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION - Under general supervision of the District manager, performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to, maintaining all District financial and investment records, answering incoming phone calls, processing incoming water and sewer payments, documentation and preparation of deposit slips for the District’s banking procedures and office personnel verification. Receive approved invoices and prepare checks for signature. Responsible for all aspects of payroll for District employees. Make direct contact with the public in response to customer service calls, billing and payment questions. Performs variety of duties and acts as the Human Resources Liaison (HR) for all employee records and questions regarding employment benefits. Must have complete knowledge of year-end tax and unemployment reporting requirements including internal revenue service reporting, W-2 filing, and 1099 reports. Work directly with the District’s auditor to assist in the performance of the District’s annual audit. HOURS - Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM and 4:30PM LOCATION - District office is located at 7995 W.
