The Lakehouse Resort offers 143 spacious rooms inclusive of breathtaking views, spa- like showers, Serenity memory foam beds, 100 channels of high-definition television with premium movie channels, complimentary wireless internet, a magnificent lobby area with a fireplace, library, board games: 2 spacious pool decks and hot tubs, hammocks, fire pits, 24 hour in-room dining, and many more legendary amenities.

Guests of the resort are encouraged to enjoy our golf course, The Links at Lakehouse Resort, which offers 18 holes of championship golf, a driving range, and 18 holes of executive golf. Our restaurant, Brickmans, offers fine dining for breakfast, Sunday brunch, lunch, and dinner. In-room dining guests can order off the full menu from the comfort of their own hotel room.


Front Office Host

The Front Office Host is at the heart of every hotel, and our front-of-house staff are some of the most important members of the team. They are the first to meet and interact with our guests; they have the first opportunity to provide them with impeccable service through our front desk and our coffee shop. The Front Office team often set the tone for the entirety of the guests’ stay through their demeanor and professionalism as a representative of the Company. 


Key Responsibilities:

·      Utilize high-level interpersonal skills to uphold friendly and courteous interactions with guests and employees.

·      Greet guests upon arrival; check-ins using hotel software and provide information needed to enjoy their stay.

·      Coordinate all guest requests for special arrangements or services courteously and efficiently.

·      Attended to the immediate needs of VIPs upon arrival and followed through with attention throughout their stay.

·      Responsible for hand crafting beverages for guests, and supporting the coffee shop operations, ensuring high quality service.

·      Handle payments on the POS efficiently and accurately.

·      Ensure merchandise and goods are stocked appropriately, maintain accurate and up to date inventory.

·      Multi-tasking and general cleaning to maintain a clean and inviting environment.

·      Become familiar with all returning guests and know their special requests.

·      Assist the Sales Department with new reservations as needed.

·      Ability to multitask in a high-profile, high-traffic environment.

·      Team-oriented and self-motivated; able to work unsupervised.

·      Assist with guest luggage, if necessary (ability to lift up to 50 lbs.)

·      Assist guests by selling future reservations.

·      Ability to upsell room packages, as well as room types to incoming guests.

·      Prompt follow-up with guest inquiry leads to second-chance bookings.

·      Answer telephone calls and emails in a professional manner

·      Maintain potential and current guest profile information.

·      Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations.

·      Provide concierge services with general knowledge of the property and surrounding area including restaurants, entertainment, special events, and general directions.

·      Deliver the highest standard of service to all customers.

·      Effectively manage daily correspondence and operational tasks to exceed customer expectations and expand customer base.

·      Proficient in Front Desk & Reservations responsibilities for a full understanding of Front Office operations.

·      Willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by Management.


Qualifications:

·      Ability to remain professional.

·      Maintain composure and courtesy.

·      Adept at time management

·      Be a good teammate.

·      Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demands.

·      RBS certification.
