About this Job
The Lakefront Management Authority manages, controls, regulates, operates, and maintains any non-flood protection facility or improvement asset or function within a levee district within the jurisdiction of a flood protection authority.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience:
Three years of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
Completion of a two-year vocational technical program in general building construction, construction technology, or engineering plus one year of experience in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
Twelve semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses plus one year of experience in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Responds to emergency facility issues 24/7 as necessary.
- Provides functional supervision to Maintenance Repairers 1, Maintenance Repairers 2, and various maintenance contractors as needed by assigning work, providing guidance on work procedures, addressing questions and issues, etc.
- Inspects and approves work in progress and upon completion for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Safeguards that the day-to-day maintenance required to ensure functionality and environmental compliance is performed.
- Oversees the repair, maintenance and renovation of energy management systems in LMA facilities.
- Ensures proper operation of facilities and systems.
- Monitors landscaping and grass cutting activities at all facilities
