In this role, you'll create exceptional client experiences, coordinate appointments, and help ensure our patients receive compassionate, efficient care.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, You Will

• Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits while helping maintain an efficient hospital schedule.
• Answer phones, respond to client inquiries, and direct medical questions to the appropriate veterinary team members.
• Gather patient history, requested services, and other important information using our practice management software.
• Guide clients through the check-in and check-out process, providing invoices, discharge instructions, and educational resources.
• Educate pet owners about preventive care, hospital services, products, and wellness recommendations.
• Dispense prescription items as directed by veterinarians and assist with retail product sales.
• Process client payments and maintain accurate daily cash drawer reconciliation.
• Address client concerns with professionalism and empathy, working to resolve issues promptly.
• Support a collaborative team environment focused on providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
• Follow hospital policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
  
  

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and calm during busy or emotionally sensitive situations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of customer service or retail experience.
• Previous experience working in a medical or veterinary setting.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology.

Physical Requirements

This Position Requires

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent computer use.
• Bending, reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand movements.
• Lifting up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to pet dander, animal waste, cleaning and disinfecting products, and moderate noise levels.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
