Part-Time: 10-15 Hours/Week to Start | Opportunity to Grow
Lakecliff Racquet Club is seeking an energetic, personable, and motivated Pickleball Professional to lead and help grow our
pickleball programming.
This position is primarily focused on pickleball. We are looking for someone who can teach clinics and private lessons,
organize pickleball programming, and build strong relationships with our growing racquet community.
Tennis teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Candidates who can also teach tennis will have additional
opportunities to increase their weekly on-court hours through tennis clinics, private lessons, and other programming.
The position will begin at approximately 10-15 on-court hours per week, with opportunities to increase hours as pickleball
programming and private lesson clientele grow.
THE ROLE
- Lead pickleball clinics, private lessons, group lessons, and match-play programming
- Work with adults and juniors from beginner through advanced recreational levels
- Help run leagues, socials, round robins, tournaments, and other pickleball programming
- Build relationships with members and grow private lesson clientele
- Teach tennis clinics or lessons when qualified and interested to increase on-court hours
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Pickleball playing and/or coaching experience
- Friendly, dependable, energetic, and professional
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Tennis teaching experience is a plus and provides additional opportunities for on-court hours
- PPR, RSPA/USPTA, PTR, or similar certification preferred, but not required
- Proof of current on-court professional liability insurance is required
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
$25-$35/hour Scheduled club programming; based on experience and qualifications
60% Coach share of private lesson revenue
Opportunity for additional hours and a larger or full-time role as the program grows.
