What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher Resource Room (1.0 FTE) Timberline Middle School - Leave Replacement position at Lake Washington School District?
Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for a 1.0 position in a Resource Room setting at Timberline Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full year position. Building Administrators will contact applicants for interview.
The resource room program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend the majority of their time within general education. Teachers may provide pull-out services, push-in supports or co-teach with general education teachers.
Qualifications
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
Salary
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
