Mead Elementary School is looking for qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for 1.0 FTE position in an elementary setting for the 2026-2027 school year. A building administrator will contact you directly if you are selected for an interview.
The resource room program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend the majority of their time within general education. Teachers may provide pull-out services, push-in supports or co-teach with general education teachers.

Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
Salary:
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
