School Year Only The position will end at the conclusion of the current school year. Depending on 2026-2027 staffing needs, hires may be offered an additional role after continuing staff have been placed for the 2026-2027 school year.
Hours Per Day: 6
Shift: 8:40-3:10
Location: Rosa Parks Elementary (Located within the Redmond Learning Community)
Hourly Rate: $29.75/hour (SC7 Salary Schedule) position is eligible for membership in the Teamsters Local Union No. 763 which is part of the Lake Washington School District Trades Bargaining Council No. 763 (TBC).
Job Summary:
Assists teachers with individualized and small group instruction for students of all educational levels who have physical or behavioral needs or are medically fragile. Supports students' special health care needs and develops daily living and behavioral skills. Assists staff with classroom preparation and retrieval, use and storage of equipment and supplies. May supervise and assist students in library, classrooms, resource rooms, self-contained classroom, playgrounds, or getting on and off a bus.
