What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Teacher - Middle, High, and IB Visual Arts (1.0 FTE) at International Community School position at Lake Washington School District?
International Community School (within the Juanita Learning Community) is looking for qualified MS/HS Art teachers for this 1.0 FTE position. ICS serves students in grades 6-12 and this position entails teaching HS and MS Art as well as IB Visual Art. Additionally, ICS has overnight student experiences with Camp Phoenix in the fall and Focus Week in the spring. Teachers at ICS also support IB students in grades 11 and 12 through Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service components of the IB Diploma Core.
Qualifications
Washington State teaching certificate with Art/Visual Arts endorsement.
Salary
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
