What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Lake Tarpon Learning Center?
We are currently seeking to hire a commited, full-time, long term and enthusiastic teacher to join us in our local preschool program.
Our thriving program is in need of additional support staffing going into summer, and beyond. We are looking for an individual who is experienced, dependable and hard working to add to our team. The kiddos in our center are happy and thriving and love to learn.
We are looking for someone who desires a full-time, long-term position and we hope that the candidate will join us as a permanent part of the family. An ideal candidate would be experienced in the field and have a desire to join a program to stay. Consistent and dependable attendance is a must!! Experience and a CDA credential is preferred, BUT we are willing to train the right person for the job.
Starting base pay of $16 would be for someone new to the field, and more for someone with some experience - the scale could go up from there depending on that. An inexperienced new employee is required to complete a pre-service training and follow it up with the 45-hour state required childcare training program (mostly online - and can be done at your own pace....you have a year to complete but can move much quicker).
