Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lake Stevens, WA for a Journeyman Diesel Mechanic. The Journeyman Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing day-to-day vehicle and equipment maintenance, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, handling heavy equipment repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the school district's transportation fleet.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
- Expertise in Diesel Mechanics
- Experience with Heavy Equipment repairs
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications or technical training in diesel mechanics
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
