2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team during evening hours. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production operations within a fast-paced factory environment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. Your leadership will motivate team members, streamline processes, and uphold the highest manufacturing standards to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers and production staff during the 2nd shift to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously, conducting regular safety inspections and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, utilizing mechanical knowledge and factory experience to troubleshoot issues promptly and effectively.
• Oversee the proper use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment, ensuring safe handling and operation at all times.
• Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, quality logs, and inventory documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to manage material flow and inventory levels efficiently within the manufacturing facility.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory setting with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines and factory operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools for troubleshooting or minor repairs.
• Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing facilities and experience enforcing safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, management, and other departments.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
