Interim High School Assistant Principal
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Interim High School Assistant Principal shall possess a valid license which entitles employment in the assigned area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Interim High School Assistant Principal will:
1. Assist the building principal in over-all administration of the building.
2. Be responsible to the principal for the administration of student discipline.
3. Assume responsibility for the administering of total textbook program.
4. Assume responsibility for administering of total program.
5. Assist in the observation and preparation of teacher evaluations as delegated by the principal.
6. Assume responsibility for the bus or transportation program as delegated by the principal.
7. Assume responsibility in scheduling of school activities.
8. Assume responsibility of leadership at assemblies held in the building.
9. Delegate duties to other staff members and see that they are properly executed.
10.Assume the role of principal in the absence of the building principal.
11.Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Principal or his designee.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve Months. Salary to be determined by the Board of School Trustees as per contract and shall be effective August 1 of each calendar year.
EVALUATION: Performance on job requirements will be evaluated annually by the High School Principal in accordance with Board Policy.
