POSITION: TRiO Director

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, 12-month, benefited position. This is a grant-funded position that is currently funded through August 31, 2030. The grant must be applied for every 5 years.

Job Summary
Lake Region State College is accepting applications for the Director of TRiO-Student Support Services. This position will coordinate the development and implementation of activities and services to accomplish program objectives and promote academic success, student retention, and student completion. The director is responsible for developing the grant application, monitoring compliance with federal regulations, evaluating processes and outcomes, and accurately meeting reporting requirements.
Requires a masters degree in education, Special Education, School Psychology, Counseling or related field. Experience writing grant proposals and the ability to motivate and inspire students and staff are highly recommended.
Applicant must have prior supervisory experience, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Applicant should have experience working with disabled, disadvantaged, minorities, or students at academic risk. Position requires demonstrated knowledge of implementing best practices in academic support services and experience with academic advising, coaching or mentoring.
SALARY: $55,500 - $64,500 based on education and experience.
