POSITION: PTAdministrative Assistant – TRiO/Student Success
LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a part-time, non-benefitted, working approximately 19 hours/week.
BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY: Lake Region State College is accepting applications for the Administrative Assistant in TRiO-Student Success. TRiO is a federally funded grant program that applies for funding every 5 years, currently refunded in July 2025. The TRiO/Student Success Administrative Assistant is a collaborative position that supports advisors, departmental leadership, staff and students. The ideal candidate must take an active role in contributing to the desired college culture of inclusion, supportiveness, championing success, along with supporting other departmental projects and initiatives as assigned. Teamwork is essential to the success of this position.
Required skills: Applicant must be professional, organized and detail-orientated, be able to function efficiently in a multi-tasking environment, and have exemplary customer service skills. Applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills, keyboard and data management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preference will be given to applicants with Campus Connection knowledge, experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and experience working in higher education.
SALARY: $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
