POSITION: Full-time Nursing Instructor
LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is 12-month, benefitted position.

JOB SUMMARY:. JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate existing health career training and develop health-related workforce training programs in the northeast region of North Dakota. The specialist is responsible for curriculum including online selection of course materials, monitoring program progress, recruiting training part-time nursing instructors, skills assessment, instruction, course assessment, sales initiatives related to healthcare courses, and clinical supervision. As a nursing faculty member, work with students and other faculty in the Clinical/Lab/Simulation setting and assist with student advising.
Minimum qualifications: B.S. Nursing; meet North Dakota Department of Health requirements for approval as a Qualified Instructor for Nurse Aide Training Program. A registered nurse with a minimum of two years of nursing experience, at least one year of which must be in the provision of long-term care facility services. Instructors must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides. Valid North Dakota driver’s license. Current ND RN license, and continuing education as required by the ND Board of Nursing and Career and Technical Education Certificate.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s in Nursing
