TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, 12-month, benefited position.

BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

JOB SUMMARY: The Baker / Special Events position supports the daily operations of Dining Services by preparing and serving high-quality meals, baked goods, desserts, salads, and catered food items in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner. This position is responsible for food preparation, bakery production, salad bar setup and maintenance, catering support, cashier duties, inventory assistance, and supervision of student employees. The role helps ensure excellent customer service and dining experiences for students, employees, visitors, and campus events while maintaining compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards.

Minimum qualifications - include high school diploma or GED. A successful candidate without a high school diploma or GED must agree to enroll in the Adult Learning Center at LRSC and complete the GED within one year from the date of hire.

SALARY: $40,000 - $45,600 based on experience plus excellent benefit package
